Geetanjali Acharya, under the far famed Guru Ratikant Mohapatra got her initial training in Odissi dance. She is regarded as one of the senior disciples of "Srijan". Later on she bagged the honor of receiving the advanced training under the great tutelage of Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra. Under the Orissa Sangeet Natak Academy, Geetanjali Acharya finished her Nrutya Shastri Purna. She has bagged the honor of performing even outside the Indian State Orissa as one of the part of Srijan's repertoire group.
This outstanding Odissi dance performer always delves her audiences in a situation, where they experience her performance with magnetized position. Apart from being a well-accomplished dancer she is also pursuing her graduation in arts degree. Her guru Ratikant Mohapatra designated her to teach the junior students at Srijan. The Dept. of Culture, Govt. of India, acknowledging her talent conferred her the national Scholarship in Odissi dance.
