Gayespur is a city in Nadia district of the eastern state of India, West Bengal and comes under Kalyani subdivision. According to the 2001 census report, Gayespur had a population of 55,028 inhabitants. Males constitute 51% of the population and females constitute 49% of the population. In Gayespur, 8% of the population is less than six years of age. Gayespur has an average literacy rate of 81%, which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 85%, and female literacy rate is 76%.
