Zangtalam is a folk dance practiced in the Mizoram state of India. The dance is mainly performed by the "Paihte" tribe. It is a community dance where everyone can participate and celebrate the happy moments together. Dances of Mizoram reproduce the cultural enthusiasm of the place. Deriving encouragement from the natural magnificence of the hilly landscapes, the dances of Mizoram are equal to the multi-cultural appearance of Mizoram.

It is performed in a group and both men and women participate in this dance. Both singing and dancing take place simultaneously. It is a rhythmic dance. The drummer choreographs the dance and the duration of the dance depends on how long the drummer can beat the drum. The male dancers stand in a line facing the female dancers. The steps of this dance are simple yet graceful. The movements can be performed by anyone. The duration of the dance depends on the drummer.
