ViBGYOR Film Festival is an international short and documentary film festival in Thissur City of Kerala.
ViBGYOR Film Festival was held annually in Thrissur City. ViBGYOR Film Festival is organised by ViBGYOR Film collective, a coalition of Chetana Media Institute, Nottam Travelling Film Festival, Navachitra Film Society, Visual Search, Moving Republic, Cense, GAIA, with the support of Thrissur Municipal Corporation, Zilla Panchayath, Federation of Film Societies of India, Kerala Chalachitra Academy, Information and Public Relations, Action Aid India, ICCO-South Asia and other various Film Societies.
ViBGYOR Film Festival is the largest alternate film festival in South Asia and Pan Asia also. ViBGYOR Film Festival is a five-day-long film festival held every year at the Sangeetha Nataka Academy Campus in, Thrissur. Celebrating Identities and Diversities is the central theme of ViBGYOR. ViBGYOR Film Festival has the focus on the theme of cinema. These are in the identities of individualism, basic human rights, environment and Developmentalism, nation state, Gender and Sexuality, fundamentalism V/s Diversity, Culture and Media, Kerala Spectrum Package for films from Kerala, Animation, Documentary, Experimental, Music Video and short films. In the year 2006, the theme of the ViBGYOR Film Festival was "Water`. In the year 2008, the theme was on "Earth` and consecutively, the themes are "Energy`, "Food Sovereignty` "State, Communal and Developmental Conflicts in South Asia`, "Political Filmmaking and Media Activism in South Asia", `South Asia: Lives and Livelihood`, `Stolen Democracies` and `Gender Justice"
