Vanya Mishra is an Indian model and beauty pageant title holder. She was crowned the Femina Miss India World title in 2012 and went on to represent India at the prestigious Miss World 2012 pageant in Mongolia, finishing in the Top 7. In `Dances of the World`, Vanya performed the "mujra" dance form to the song "Dil Cheez Kya Hai". She has been approached by several film makers from Tollywood (Telugu Cinema) and Bollywood (Hindi film industry) but she is concentrated in selecting right scripts. She had initially accepted Nandamuri Kalyan Ram-starrer Telugu movie "Sher", directed by Mallikarjun, but was later replaced by Sonal Chauhan in the female lead.
Early Life and Education of Vanya Mishra
Vanya Mishra was born on February 27, 1992 in Jalandhar, Punjab. She completed her schooling from KBDAV School in Jalandhar and later pursued graduation in Electrical Engineering from PEC University of Technology in Chandigarh, India. While in college, she was a part of the Literary, Dramatics and Projection Design clubs, and entered the glamour world by participating and eventually winning the Dabur Gulabari Miss Rose Glow 2011 contest. She later went on to contest in the Pantaloons Femina Miss India World 2012 competition, competing with 19 other models to eventually clinch the title.
Modelling Career of Vanya Mishra
Vanya Mishra became the Femina Miss India World 2012 on March 30, 2012, and went on to represent India in the Miss World 2012 pageant in Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China on August 18, 2012. She won two important titles - "Social Media" and "Beauty with a purpose". In "Dances of the World", Vanya performed a "mujra" to the popular Bollywood song “Dil Cheez Kya Haiâ€. She finished in the Top 7 category in the competition, while also winning the Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Beautiful Skin and Miss Photogenic titles. As winner of Femina Miss India World 2012 and official representative at the Miss World Competition, she was managed by Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL), Times of India Group, from April 2012 to March 2014.
After returning from the Miss World 2012 pageant, Vanya Mishra was approached by many Bollywood and Tollywood film makers with roles in films, but she focussed on her studies and maintained her stance of selecting the right scripts only. She completed her graduation in 2014 and had also given her nod for the Telugu film "Sher", opposite actor Kalyan Ram and directed by Mallikarjun, but was later replaced by actress Sonal Chauhan. She has been signed on by veteran Tamil and Telugu film director Suresh Krishna, for his yet to be titled bilingual film starring Prince Cecil in the lead. Vanya is also the co-founder of Twysk Tech, an event focussed Social Network that aims to become a lifestyle than a technology by focussing on important aspects of going out experience, based in Gurgaon, Haryana.

Personal Life and Family of Vanya Mishra
Vanya Mishra hails from a Brahmin family. Her mother is Ved Mishra. The actress was raised single-handedly by her mother since she was 2, when her father, a major in the Indian Army, passed away. She is the single daughter to her parents. She loves music, badminton, dance and reading. She is also a big fan of actress Priyanka Chopra.
