The very charming and talented actor Pankit Thakkar has created waves on the small screen by essaying the role of Atul Joshi in the hugely hit show "Dill Mill Gaye". More popular by the name of Sweetu in the television industry he has charmed the small screen audiences with his amiable persona and immense acting potential.
The other serial in which Pankit Thakkar performance has been highly acclaimed is the character portrayal of Ajay in `Special Squad`. Another role, which is very close to his heart, is `Kabhie Sautan Kabhie Saheli` which had many shades attached to it and also gave him immense scope to perform. He has also charmed the small screen audiences with the show called `Twinkle Beauty Parlour` that was aired on SAB TV sometime back.
Pankit has portrayed varied roles in different serials. He essayed the role of a helpless guy in "Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli", a negative role in "Tu Kahe Agar", a passionate lover in "Tum Bin Jaon Kahan", a fascinating role in "Kagaz Ki Kashti. He also acted as a very outspoken guy in the serial `India Calling` and an innocent and naive man in `Kumkum`; he was also nominated for the Best Actor in Comic Role in the popular category in the Gold Awards held in Mumbai in 2010.
