Tiru Aadanoor Temple is also referred to as Bhargava Kshetram. The Moolavar here is Aandalakkumaiyan (Aadanoorai Aandu Alakkum Aiyan) in a reclining position, facing the East. The Vimanam and the theertham and the Taayaar have the same names. Also in the sanctum has images of Kamadhenu and Tirumangaialwar. The image of Vishnu is depicted as bearing a palm manuscript, a writing device and a measuring device.
Temple: It has a three-tiered Raja gopuram and two prakarams. It is an east-facing sanctum. Ranganaayaki taayaar is housed in a separate sanctum. The stala vriksham is the patali tree.
Legend: Kamadhenu worshipped Vishnu here. This shrine is also known as Bhargava kshetram. The name Aadanoor arises from the legend that Kamadhenu offered worship to Vishnu here. Agni, the fire God offered worship here.
Festivals: Vaikuntha Ekadasi is celebrated here.
