Theme Parks in Tamil Nadu are the biggest mode of entertainment for the busy people of that state. Theme parks are a specific type of "Amusement Park" that is usually themed to a particular subject than normal amusements parks. Theme park is a group of entertainment attractions, rides and other events in a location for the enjoyment of large numbers of people.
The state of Tamil Nadu has a large number of theme parks all around its cities. Some of them are given here:
•Kishkinta Park of Tamil Nadu
The Kishkinta Park is situated about 4 km away down Rajaji Salai at Tambaram. This is a high-tech amusement park set in beautiful surrounding, which covers an area over 110 acres. The latest attraction of this park is a man-made waterfall called Chennai Courtallam. It also features exciting dry rides, amusements, attractions, water games and rides etc. includes 3D theatre, water scooter, boating etc.
V.G.P. Golden Beach of Tamil Nadu
•This beach is about 21 km on the road to Mahabalipuram south of Chennai. Several films have been shot here. The special attractions here are a number of exciting games and high-tech entertainment equipments and super-fast giant wheel. Other attractions of this beach are the sea swimming and the Pongal festival and flower and vegetable shows.
•MGM Dizzee World of Tamil Nadu
The Dizzee World is situated further south to V.G.P. Golden Beach. It is a theme cum high-tech amusement park with thrilling and heart throbbing entertainments which makes one really dizzy.
•The Crocodile Bank of Tamil Nadu
It is one more place of outing, situated about 34 km from Chennai and located between V.G.P. Golden Beach and Dizzy World. The visitors can look around several species of crocodiles, which are reared in natural surroundings. The visitors can get excited by the crocodiles basking in the sun and their sudden movement. The crocodile eggs and the rough back of the crocodile can be felt here.
•Black Thunder Water Theme Park
Black Thunder Water Theme Park is Asia"s No.1 Water Theme Park, nestled in natural beauty with the green hills of the Nilgiris. The park features water rides, dry rides etc. and also offers luxurious resort accommodation, multi-cuisine restaurant, bar, health club, corporate conference facilities etc.
•Abirami Mega Snow World
This is a unique by itself being the first in Tamil Nadu and also it is a first Snow Cave all over the World. The main features of Abirami Mega Snow World are Fiery Ice Slide, Ice sculptures etc. The Snow produced is manufactured out of pure Mineral Water and a reverse osmosis plant has been erected for the same.
