Tantapani Cuvamikal
Tantapani Cuvamikal or Murukataca Cuvamikal was a much venerated poet and scholar from the 19th century. He wrote a biography of Arunakirinatar as a puranam.
Tantapani Cuvamikal composed catakam, antati and kalampakam type of literary works that were devoted to Lord Kartikeya, known as Murugan or Murukan in Tamil. He also wrote a biography of Arunakirinatar as a puranam. Pulavar Puranam, composed by Tantapani Cuvamikal elaborately describes about the lives of poets combined with the tales related to their lives.
