Tadikombu, Tamil NaduTadikombu is situated about 8 kms north of Dindigul. A famous temple dedicated to Sundararaja Perumal can be seen here. This temple has exquisite sculptures, monolithic pillars 12 ft high and all of them represent excellent workmanship. These sculptures are carved in one stone but they present several designs. These include Garuda, Rudhrathandava, Kali, Chakkarathalwar, Vaikuntanatha and Rama mounted on Hanuman.

Tadikombu is a hill of 20 ft height and is called Anaimalai. It looks like a recumbent elephant (Elephant Hill). Paranthaka Cholal built the temple of Narasimha Perumal at the bottom of Tadikombu hill. There is a shrine in the south-west of this in a cave temple. The deities and other figures are cut out of solid rock. One can see the relics of a Jain monastery with Tirthankaras on a boulder here. The boulder is quite astonishing and is placed over heading and forms a cave. The inscriptions found here also reveal the several Tirthankara figures. A pool filled with water is pointed out as the eye of the reclining elephant.
