The hugely entertaining family drama Zaara-Pyar Ki Saugat is broadcasted on Sahara One channel every Monday to Friday at 8p.m. The storyline of the soap revolves around the life of Zaara (played by Samiksha) who hails from an upper middle class Muslim background. It is the story of this innocent girl who decides to sacrifice her love in order to save the married life of her sister Zeenat. Zaara is portrayed as a young girl who is not only very beautiful but also very sweet by nature. She shares an intimate bond with her childhood sweetheart Samar (played by Abhay Vakil) whom she had met when she was pursuing her academics in the United States. They are also slated to tie the knot when Samar returns to his hometown after gaining some work experience.
On the other hand the sibling of Zaara, Zeenat is well settled by marrying Aamir and they both are very much in love with each other. The plot of Zaara-Pyar Ki Saugat takes a drastic turn when Zeenat asks her for a favor which is definitely not going to have a good effect on her love relation and might lead her to loose Samar forever. As Zeenat has not been able to conceive for a long span she asks her sister to get married to her husband and conceive a child for him. The starcast of the show comprises of the very good-looking actors of the small screen including the likes of Jatin Grewal and Abhay Vakil. Other prime characters of the soap are Malini Kapoor, Kabir Sadanand, Nigar Khan and others. The popular South Indian film actress Samiksha essays the lead role of Zaara.
According to the lead character of the show Samiksha, her on-screen character gave her a lot of scope to portray a variety of emotions. Over all this is a story with lots of valus and sentiments. The show focuses on the intentions of a woman to save her marriage rather than letting her husband marry a woman who is conniving and malicious enough to destroy the peace of the family. It is a highly believable show though at some parts it gets a bit melodramatic. All in all the show entertains the audience with its soft appeal and brilliant characters.
