The storyline of this soap revolved around the life of a middle class girl named Saakshhi who has rare dreams and aspirations, which she strives to fulfill in life. She refuses to be tied down by the bonds of the society and cherishes the dream of working as an undercover operative in an anti-terrorist squad.
The popular small screen actress Mouli Ganguly essayed the lead role of Saaksshi. According to the actress the soap has provided with tremendous opportunity to change her soft image and reflect a kind of image, which is considered different from that of a typical Indian woman. She also held the firm belief that such shows will create a huge impact on the small screen audiences on a grand scale. The show was not very successful but instantly clicked with the section of the audience who preferred having some kind of thrill in the shows that entertain them.
