Personal Life of Sulakshana Pandit
Sulakshana Pandit was born to a musically inclined family with three brothers and four sisters. Her brothers Jatin Pandit and Lalit Pandit are unanimously known as the famous music-composing duo, Jatin Lalit. Another celebrated actress and playback singer Vijeta Pandit is her sister. Her uncle Pandit Jasraj is a renowned classical vocalist. Her father Pratap Narayan Pandit was an accomplished classical vocalist. Her nephew Yash Pandit is an Indian television actor and her nieces Shraddha and Shweta Pandit are both accomplished playback singers. Sulakshana Pandit led a very unimpressive childhood because the family had to struggle for long to earn their daily bread. During the 1970`s and early 1980`s, Sulakshana led a mid-level career. In most of her films she was cast opposite Jeetendra.

Other than being a playback singer, Sulakshana Pandit also acted in over 50 films. Apart from singing for other heroines, she sang for herself as well.
