This actor has also done the character portrayal of the oldest member of the Virani household in the most popular Balaji soap `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi`. He has also done a play called `Sabse Bada Rupaiya` which has been done in Gujrati and is a super hit with the audience. Like his son, he also believes in the present, as he knows the past and he hates to worry about the future. It was his wife who pursued him to play the role of Sai Baba and also said that he will gain much name and fame after this portrayal and it proved to be true in his case. He will also present a show titled `Baba ke gyarah vachan` or `the saint`s eleven assurances`.
