Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex, Bengaluru, Karnataka Sree Kanteerava Stadium, which is also spelled Sri Kanteerava Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Bengaluru in the Indian State of Karnataka. Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex has the basketball court, football court, volleyball court providing all the basic and the international based facilities to the young players and the aspirants in Karnataka, Kerala, Bengaluru, and Tamil Nadu.

History of Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex
Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex was formed in the marshland area of Bengaluru. Years ago, Sree Kanteerava Stadium was a lake. The Stadium Complex athletic track was developed into a pro synthetic track for 1997 national games; it was a cinder track before. The athletic track of Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex has the renovation with the best facilities. Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex was constructed through SVEC Constructions Ltd, Hyderabad and was completed by 31st May 1997.

Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex is used mostly for football matches. Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex holds 24,000 people. It also includes two outdoor rock climbing walls, a running track, a football field, and a volleyball court.

Architecture of Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex
The central arena of Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex consists of an 8-lane 400m synthetic athletic track, along with synthetic surfaced areas for field events like long jump, high jump, triple jump, and pole vault. Inside the athletic tracks lies a football field of 100m X 68m size, which is now the practice field for the South Indian based football clubs in I-league and Indian Super League. Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex is the practice field for Goa FC, Salgaocar FC, South United F.C and many other football clubs based in Tamil Nadu, Goa, Karnataka, and Kerala.

Entrances of Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex
Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex contains four large arched entrances leading on to the inner field and lower spectator stands. Eight ramps have been provided in the stadium, taking spectators to the upper stands. Thus in total, 12 gates for spectators serve the stadium to have a quick movement in Sree Kanteerava Stadium Complex.
