Shri Kothara Teerth located in Gujarat is a Jain pilgrimage centre. The teeth kshetra is situated in the centre of the Bali village. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shantinath, the Sixteenth Jain Tirthankara.

According to history Shri Kothara Teerth dates back to the ancient times. This sacred place belongs to the group of the five sacred places of the Abdasa Taluka. The temple of the Lord Shantinath was established on the thirteenth day of the bright half of the month of Magha in the year 1918 of the Vikram Samvat Era. It was formally installed at the hands of revered Acharya Ratnasagarsuriji of Achalgachchha. This temple is also known as `Kalyan Tunk`. The writer of the poem `Kesharji Nayak` on the Shetrunjaya temple was a native of this place. The idol of Lord Parshvanatha is believed to possess miraculous powers. Devotees from far off places visit the temple to offer their prayers. It is believed that if prayed with all devotion the Lord fulfils the wishes of the pilgrims.

The temple of Shri Kothara Teerth houses the idol of Lord Shantinath. The two - storied temple has been magnificently decorated with intricate artistic designs. The creative temple work boast about the skills of the craftsmen. The eight peaks of the temple are adorned with flags that keep fluttering. These can be even from a far off distance. The open square, the arched gates, the attractive pillars further enhance the beauty of the temple. The walls and pillars of the temple are adorned with specimens of ancient art. The idol of the Lord is 90 cm in height and is white in colour. It is seated in a padmasana posture. The smiling face of the Lord looks very calm and serene. The temple is surrounded by a high fort with five cells. The gate is 12 feet high and 6 feet broad.
The Temple of Shri Kothara Teerth organises many annual gatherings and functions. There are provisions for dharamshalas or rest houses for the pilgrims. These are well equipped with all modern facilities. Apart from this there are Upashrays, an Ayambilshala and a Jnanabhandar.
