Shiv Kumar Saroj was a popular announcer with the Hindi Service of Indian Radio. He started his career as an announcer on Radio Ceylon, the oldest radio station in South Asia. Later, Shiv Kumar Saroj worked in several Indian regional channels and became quite popular locally. He also helped to establish many radio stations in India as the leader of the airwaves right across the Indian sub-continent. Millions of listeners in India tuned in to hear Shiv Kumar Saroj.
