Sharad Kelkar is a television actor who has appeared in many popular serials. He is a Maharashtrian from Gwalior, which is situated in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. After completing his graduation, he pursued a degree in management. He is an MBA in Marketing.
Sharad Kelkar was a Grasim Mr. India finalist. This achievement marked his entry into the entertainment industry. He was soon offered the role of Rudra Raizada in the soap `Sindoor Tere Naam Ka` on Zee TV. He next got his breakthrough role as Nahar in the serial `Saat Phere.` His role in the serial as the husband of the main protagonist Saloni shot him to the limelight. In 2010 he participated in the reality show, `Comedy Circus Mahasangram` with his partners Bharti Singh and Paresh Ganatra. He has also appeared with Kirti Kelkar in `Nach Baliye 2.` In the recent past Sharad had appeared in the lead role in the serial `Bairi Piya` aired on Colors Channel. Sharad Kelkar has also hosted a show `Rock-N-Roll Family` along with Mauli Dave.
Apart from acting in serials Sharad has also endorsed many popular brands like Skoda, Hero Honda, LG Refrigerator, Bharat Petroleum, Maruti Esteem and Dabur Red Gel Toothpaste. On a personal note Sharad Kelkar is married to another popular television actress Kirti Gaekwad.
