Savalaswas

In the Puranas it is mentioned that Daksha, at the command of Lord Brahma, created various living creatures. His first four thousand sons, known as Haryaswas, were dissuaded by Narada from propagating offspring, and isolated themselves. Daksha then created a thousand other sons known as Savalaswas, who were desirous of engendering posterity, but were again dissuaded by Narada, in a similar manner. The Savalaswas said to each other that what the sage Narada had done to them was perfectly justified. The Savalaswas persuaded themselves to follow the path that the Haryaswas had done. They prepared themselves to travel the whole universe and after finishing their tour they would multiply their race. As a result the Savalaswas scattered themselves through the regions, and, like rivers flowed into the sea, they never returned.

Daksha, the patriarch found that all his sons had vanished and became infuriated. Then Daksha denounced an imprecation upon Narada.
