Sacral Chakra, Kundalini ChakrasSacral Chakra is the second chakra of the Kundalini Chakras which is also known as "Swadhisthana Chakra". It is associated with the emotional body, sensuality and creativity. Its element is water and as such, its energy is characterized by flow and flexibility. The function of the Sacral Chakra is directed by the principle of pleasure. Sacral Chakra is associated with reproductive organs of human beings. Sacral Chakra is the center of emotions and helps to determine gender identity. The Sacral Chakra is the center of creativity as well as all emotional feelings. It determines self-worth and also the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of life.

Effects of Sacral Chakra
Sacral Chakra, which is well balanced, will nourish the creativity, freedom, fertility, desire, intimacy, reproductive ability and emotional balance. A problem in this Chakra results in sexual abuse, obsessed behaviour, fear, complex, impotence, genital problems, lower back problems and toxicity within the body. Its negative side is that if the Chakra is not well balanced, it assists in the storage of suppressed sexual issues such as abuse or any sexual crime. Healing of this Chakra treats the sexual organs, prostrate, bladder, urethra, ovaries and appendix.

Position of Sacral Chakra
Sacral Chakra, Kundalini ChakrasThe Position of Sacral Chakra is about 3 inches below the navel, at the center of the lower belly. In the back, it"s located at the level of the lumbar vertebrae. The Sacral Chakra is orange coloured and the lotus has 6 petals. The Chakra can be visualized as a spinning wheel inside the orange coloured lotus flower. All dark areas are covered by the brighter orange colour and the colour gradually intensifies. During meditation on sacral Chakra one should ask his/ her mind to cleanse, close and protect the Chakra.

Awakening of Sacral Chakra
One can open the sacral chakra with creative expression and by honouring the body. The energy of this chakra is feminine, passive and lunar. It inspires creativity and passionate living, arouses sensual pleasure, heals emotional connection, and empowers to manifest abundance and prosperity.

Malfunction of Sacral Chakra
The malfunction of sacral Chakra involves problem in uterus, kidney and bladder as it has effect on womb, bladder, reproductive organs and circulatory system. The foods that stimulate Sacral Chakra are liquid, orange fruits and vegetables. The crystals and stones associated are - Blue Jasper, Red Jasper, Carnelian, Topaz, Orange Calcite and Citrine. The element associated is water. The Sacral Chakra functions for getting physical energies, pleasure and harmony.

Exercises for Sacral Chakras
Exercise or Yoga asanas can dispel chakra blockages and boost healthy energy flow through the body"s energy centres. When one focuses on a specific chakra, the health of the entire chakra system is benefited. To open and balance the sacral chakra, forward bends, standing, seated and twist asanas are the most effectivxe ones.
