These chakras do not receive tons of attention, but they are very essential. Their function is to anchor one`s spiritual experience and consciousness and make it usable. With both the crown and heel chakras open, one`s head is in the heavens and feet on the ground. One must remember that earth is part of the heavens, the "ring around the chakras" associate with cosmic power and energy as it illustrates in the earthly territory.

One can walk around feeling the energy going through both the heels and the head. One must be consciousness and the power in this combination. After a few minutes, one may wish to sit or lie down (both ways, one needs to keep the back straight). It is advised to enter a meditative state and be open to any images or thoughts that comes to one`s mind.

For novices, these chakra sets are not that essential, but a person growing in the amount of spiritual force available, needs to possess these chakras open and poised in order to make utmost use of it.
