Rehala Falls, Himachal PradeshRehala Falls which is also known as Rahala Waterfall, Rahalla or Rahla Waterfall is located in Himachal Pradesh at a proximity to Rohtang Pass. Rahalla Falls is about 27 km away from Manali located at an altitude of 2,501 meter. Rehala Falls is surrounded by towering mountains, covered with elegant coloured flowers. This marvellous waterfall, Rahalla Waterfalls is the centre of attraction for travellers of both national and international level. Rahala Waterfalls is about 17 kilometers from Manali at the start of the climb to the Rohtang Pass, at an altitude of 2,501meters.

Location of Rehala Falls
Rehala Falls is a natural cascade and Punchbowl type of a waterfall located 16 kilometres from Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass. The waterfall is a tourist attraction on the Leh-Manali Highway in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Geography of Rehala Falls
Rehala Falls is surrounded by dense forest cover. Dense woods of Birch and Deodar trees are common. The snow capped Himalayan peaks can be seen in the background. The best time to visit the waterfall is between the months of March and November.

Rehala Falls is easily accessible from the road ways, railways and the airways. It is connected with all the major cities of India. The nearest airport to the Rehala Falls is 50 km. from Manali, named Bhutnar. One can also catch a direct flight from Delhi. The current plane service for Manali is provided by Air India. Other private airlines also provide services. Manali is connected to Delhi by road through NH 21 and NH 1. One can reach by this road through a taxi or by bus. There are buses to the Rehala Falls from Manali and the travel time is around 20 minutes. The cars for Rohtang Pass or especially to this place are available from Manali itself. One can feel the mental peace at this spot. This place has the most pleasant weather mainly during the summer months, but in winter the tourists those who can tolerate the chilling climatic conditions can visit the place. The view of the place is really attention-grabbing both during the summer and the winter months. Rahala Waterfalls is not far from Manali. But still it is always recommended to start early so that the tourists can enjoy the Waterfalls and as well can continue their trip to Rotang Pass.
