Early Life of Reema Lagoo
Reema Lagoo was born in 1958, as "Nayan Bhadbhade". Her mother was a recognized actress on Marathi Theatre. The acting abilities of Reema Lagoo were noted when she was a student at the Huzurpaga HHCP High school in Pune. She started to take trainings immediately and her professional acting started soon after finishing high school.

She has mostly acted in supporting roles; however, she has acted with some of the most reputed names in the Hindi film industry. Reema Lagoo also ventured in television serials and rose in prominence with the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988).

Reema Lagoo became known as the universal mother character in Bollywood films. Lagoo has also appeared on the Marathi show "Maanacha Muzra", which aims to honour Marathi personalities. She has also appeared in small screen with hit soaps. She also acted in 9 films as a child actor.

Reema Lagoo died at the age of 59 due to cardiac arrest on 18th May 2017.
