Located Pachmarhi, also known as the Queen of Satpura, in the Hoshangabad district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, the Rajat Pratap falls is a horsetail type of waterfall. It stands at an elevation of 107 m and is known to be the 30th highest waterfall in the country.
Etymology of Rajat Pratap
Derived from the 2 Hindi words Rajat and Pratap which means silver and falls respectively, the Rajat Pratap is also known as the Silver Falls. The water droplets from the cascade appear to glisten like silver, when the sun"s rays touch them, giving the waterfall a silver lining.
