Raghunatheshwar Tedha Temple is located in Jwalamukhi in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ram, Goddess Sita and Lord Lakshman. The title `Tedha` was attached to the temple`s name owing to its inclining posture. Such a posture is the result of a massive earthquake that shattered earth in 1905. Though the temple remains unharmed, the original idols of the deities were damaged in the quakes. The reinstalled idols are made of `ashtadhatu` (alloy of eight metals). The ancient Raghunatheshwar Tedha temple, balanced atop a hillock and encircled by dense vegetation, is known for its humble yet exquisite carvings. There is a pond in the temple premises. Edging the pond there are caves believed to have been dwelt by Sita and Lakshman. Engraved on the rock walls surrounding the pond are idols of Lord Ram, Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma, Lord Bhairav, Lord Garuda, Lord Ganesh, Lord Mahavir and other deities. Mentionable here is an idol of Lord Shiva with five mouths. Raghunatheshwar Tedha temple is situated at a distance of 8km from the illustrious Jwalamukhi Temple. The nearest railhead is Jwalamukhi Road Railway Station.
