Poonam Narula made her debut in the world of television with the Balalji Production "Mano Ya Na Mano". This was followed by a downbeat role in "Kahiin Kissi Roz". There was no stopping for Poonam. She did varied genres of roles, counting a comic character in Shararat and a role with shades of grey in "Kasautii Zindagii Kay".
"Kkusum". "Aashirwad" and "Kutumb" also starred Poonam in significant roles. Later she participated with husband Manish Goel in the dance reality show "Nach Baliye" in 2005.
She has also the award of Star Parivar Favorite Nanand as Nivedita Basu from Kasautii Zindagii Kay - 2003 and Indian Television Academy Awards for Favorite Maa as Radha from Shararat - 2004.
