Jatileswar Temple
Jatileswar Temple is a famous temple of Dooars area of North Bengal. It is one of the oldest temples of the region. The temple has religious as well as historic significance. The main temple was built during the time of the Gupta rulers of Bengal around 320 AD to 600 AD. The temple is dedicated to Jatileswar or lord Shiva. The temple is under the protection of Archaeological Survey of India. The temple is located about 10 kms from Maynaguri town of Jalpaiguri district. It is situated on the western side of river Jaldhaka close to the highway connecting Maynaguri with Dhupguri. The location of Jatileswar Temple is about halfway between the two towns.

Bodaganj
Pilgrimage Tourism in Jalpaiguri DistrictBodaganj is a village and the temple site in the Baikunthapur forest area close to Siliguri and Jalpaiguri town. The area is close to Teesta River and is considered to be a place of historical significance. It is believed that Decoit Queen Devi Choudhurani and her "Guru" Bhabani Pathak ruled the area and its forests. Bodaganj area is also home of Bhamri Devi temple which is one of the 51 piths of the Shakti sect. The area is close to Teesta River and there are places around Bodaganj that are attractive for nature lovers as well.

Bhamri Devi Temple
Bhamri Devi temple is adjacent to Bodaganj village and is just 5 minutes walk from the village. The temple premise has idols of Shiva or Mahadeva and Parvati and a number of other deities. The locals as well as people from the surrounding area visit here in large numbers. The temples of Bhabani Pathak and Devi Choudhurani are significant places but for the uninitiated tourists, the temple comes out as quite mundane.

Chamurchi Mahakal
Chamurchi Mahakal has the temple, but the road is rugged here. It originates on the Diana riverbed.

Jalpesh Mandir
Jalpesh Mandir is a famous temple of North Bengal located near Jalpaiguri town located in Jalpaiguri District of West Bengal. The 350 year old temple of Lord Shiva was constructed by the erstwhile King of Coochbehar, Shri Prananarayan. During the monsoon month, thousands of pilgrims flock to Jalpesh Mandir for puja.
