Palak Wildlife Sanctuary is located at the southern tip of the Indian state Mizoram, in Saiha district, at a distance of about 378 kilometres from Aizwal. Spanning over an area of 15.50 square kilometres, the forest exhibits pristine beauty amid the lush greenery and cool ambience. Palak Wildlife Sanctuary is within the Palak Lake Reserve Forest and also hosts the Palak Lake which is the biggest lake of the state. The beautiful oval shaped lake encompasses an area of about 1000 square meters. It can be easily reached from Saiha town, which provides comfortable accommodation facilities at tourist lodges.
