Non-film Work of Akkineni NagarjunaAkkineni Nagarjuna, in addition to being a film producer, is also a television producer. His debut television production was in the year 2009, with the soap opera "Yuva". He is one of the major shareholders of the television channel MAA TV. Nagarjuna has also hosted the Telugu version of "Kaun Banega Crorepati", called "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu", the first season of which was telecast on MAA TV from June 9, 2014 to August 7, 2014, with a total of 40 episodes. The second season was also showcased on MAA TV from December 9, 2014 to February 27, 2015, completing 55 episodes in total. In 2015, he was honoured with the Entertainment Leader Award for television for his work in "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" at the TV-5 Business Leaders Awards ceremony.

Apart from owning a film production unit operating in Seychelles, along with Annapurna Studios alongside brother Akkineni Venkata Rathnam and a co-director of an Emmy Award-winning film animation company in Michigan, United States (US), Akkineni Nagarjuna is the co-owner of Mumbai Masters of the Indian Badminton League, along with Sunil Gavaskar, and Mahi Racing Team India along with Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He is currently the brand ambassador for Kalyan Jewellers in the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states. He was listed #56 and #61 in Forbes India Top 100 Celebrities for the years 2012 and 2013 respectively.

Non-film Work of Akkineni NagarjunaNagarjuna is also the founding Partner of N3 Realty Enterprises, the parent entity for N-Convention Center, N-Grill and District N in Hyderabad, jointly owned alongside Nalla Preetham Reddy. In 2014, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation identified that the convention facility had encroached upon the Full Tank Level boundary. Subsequently, through legal opinions sought by Nagarjuna, a correction path of the land was initiated by the local administrators.

Charitable Endeavours of Akkineni Nagarjuna
Akkineni Nagarjuna, with his wife Amala, is the co-founder of Blue Cross of Hyderabad, a registered society recognized by the Animal Welfare Board of India. A non-government organization (NGO) in Hyderabad, it works towards the welfare of animals and preservation of animal rights. He is also involved in some welfare programmes undertaken by the MAA TV association, and serves as the brand ambassador for HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns. In 2010, he starred in an HIV/AIDS animated software tutorial created by TeachAIDS, a non-profit social enterprise founded at Stanford University, US, which develops global HIV prevention education technology products based on an approach invented through research at the university.
