Siraj was born on 13th March 1994 in Hyderabad, Telangana. Mohammed Siraj made his first-class debut in Ranji Trophy and T20I debut against New Zealand. He is a right-handed batting player and right-arm bowling with a medium-fast pace. During 2016-17 Ranji Trophy, he was the highest wicket-taker with 41 wickets at an average of 18.92.

Domestic Career of Mohammed Siraj
Mohammed Siraj made his first-class debut on 15th November 2015, playing for Hyderabad in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy tournaments. He made his Twenty20 debut on 2nd January 2016 in the 2015–16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournaments. In February 2017, he has been a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team for the 2017 Indian Premier League. Then in January 2018, he became a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore by the 2018 IPL auction. In February 2018, he was the leading wicket-taker in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy tournaments as well. In October 2018, he was named in India A`s squad for the 2018–19 Deodhar Trophy tournaments.

International Career of Mohammed Siraj
In October 2017, Siraj was named for India`s Twenty20 International series against New Zealand. He made his T20I debut in that series on 4th November 2017, taking the wicket of Kane Williamson. In February 2018, Mohammed was named in T20I squad for the 2018 Nidahas Trophy. In September 2018, he has been selected for the Test series against West Indies, in which he did not play. Siraj was also named in India"s One Day International match against Australia. Siraj made his ODI debut in this match in 15th January 2019.
