The very popular TV Serial `Miilee ` which used to be broadcasted on Star Plus sometime back is the story of a young orphan girl who was living in a convent in the hill town of Shimla which is situated in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. By nature she is a complete tomboy and an incorrigible prankster at the same time.
She is also a naïve, sensitive and caring girl as well. She is a girl who brings smile to everybody`s face and spreads happiness as gracefully as an angel. Living amongst the nuns in the orphanage she grew up in a very simple environment and led a very carefree life. She was also loved and adored by everybody around her. Often she irritates her mother superior in the convent with a little amount of impishness, otherwise she is absolute a darling of every one.
Life was very comfortable for Millee until her greatest fears come true. On having completed eighteen years of age she is asked to leave the convent according to the rules. It is at this point of time that her life takes an unexpected turn and she finds herself in a complete mess. She sets foot in the Rustogi household headed by the arrogant industrialist Vishal Rustogi.
TV Serial Miilee is brought in here to be a companion to the old and irritable grandmother of the family who has lived in recluse for many years at the shock of loosing her grandchild. She acts as a fresh breath of air in the Rustogi household where she adds colors and cheers up the otherwise mundane life of the family members. There is never a dull moment when Miilee is around in the house until a shocking truth from the past gets revealed.
The starcast of Millie was also a brilliant lot. The female lead and the character of Millee was played by Mona Vasu and the other star cast include Kiran Kumar, Sushma Seth, Asif Shaikh, Mehru Shaikh, Krishna Kohli, Ajay Gehi, Mohit Mallik, Radhika, Aditi Shirwaikar, Amit Dolawat and Palki Malhotra. The male lead Ahay Gehi made his television debut through this serial.
The serial was produced by Vinta Nanda and directed by Raman Kumar who is making a comeback in the world of television after their path breaking soap `Tara` created a revolution in the world of Indian soaps. The small screen audiences have always adored sweet and interesting shows like this and they hope that the sequel of `Millee` would hit the television screen soon.
