Mayank Agarwal is an Indian cricket player, who has made his international debut for Indian cricket team in 2018 against Australia.

Mayank Agarwal, Indian Cricket Player Mayank Agarwal is an Indian cricket player, who plays as a right-handed opening batsman for the Indian state of Karnataka. Mayank made his international debut on 26th December 2018 against Australia. He made his first triple century in first class cricket, when he scored 304 not out, batting for Karnataka against Maharashtra in the Ranji Trophy. In 2018, he has been a part of the IPL team Kings XI Punjab">Kings XI Punjab in IPL auction. From 2018-2019, he was the leading run scorer in Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Early Life of Mayank Agarwal
Agarwal was born on 16th February 1991 in Bangalore. He has pursued his studies in Bishop Cotton Boys` School and Jain University in Bangalore. Mayank Agarwal started to be on the spotlight for his performances in the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy from 2008-2009 and in 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In Under-19 World Cup, he was the leading run scorer for India. In Karnataka Premier League of 2010, he became the Man of the Series, where he scored a century as well.

Domestic Cricket Career of Mayank Agarwal
In November 2017, he made his first triple century in first class cricket with 304 runs for Karnataka against Maharashtra in the 2017-2018 Ranji Trophy. On the same month, he scored 1000 runs in the first class cricket. Mayank was the leading run scorer in the Ranji Trophy (2017-2018) with 1160 runs in total.

In January 2018, he has been a part of the Kings XI Punjab in the 2018 IPL auction. Apart from that, Agarwal was the leading run scorer of Vijay Hazare Trophy (2017-2018), where he scored 723 runs in eight matches. He scored 2141 runs in all formats, which is the highest total by any batsman in an Indian domestic season. Mayank Agarwal was the leading run scorer for Karnataka in Vijay Hazare Trophy (2018-19) as well, with 251 runs in seven matches. In October 2018, he was named in India B`s squad for the Deodhar Trophy (2018-19). Next month he was named as one of the eight players to watch ahead for the Ranji Trophy of 2018-19 season. In June 2018, he was awarded with the Madhavrao Scindia Award for the "Highest Run-Scorer" in Ranji Trophy by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

International Cricket Career of Mayank Agarwal
In September 2018, he was named for the Test series against West Indies, but he did not play in that match. In December of the same year, he was added for the Test series against Australia as Prithvi Shaw was excluded from the match due to injury. He completed his debut test series with a total score of 76 runs in the first innings at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This was the highest score by an Indian cricketer on a Test debut in Australia, breaking the previous record of 51 runs set by Dattu Phadkar in 1947. Mayank played the 4th test as well and finished the series with 195 runs in total.
