Manava Naik was born on 8th September 1984, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her mother Meena Naik is an actress and her father Arun Naik is a translator and writer. Manava has been acting since her childhood. She did her schooling from St. Joseph"s Convent and completed her graduation in English Literature from Ruia College. She also attended the New York Film Academy for a course on Film Making.

Her television debut with "Special Squad" made her a household name and helped her bag roles in other television shows like "Baa Bahoo Aur Baby" and "Teen Bahuraniyaan".
