The very sweet and good-looking actor Manoj Bidvai is recently seen essaying the character of Nikhil Mittal in the newly launched Star Plus musical based soap `Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni`. Some time back this talented actor was replaced in the Balaji`s most popular show `Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi` because he was considered to be too charming to play the villain.
In that soap he was portrayed as the young and arrogant Abir but before he could make a mark he had to opt out of the show. He claims that being the part of the `Kyunki` team was indeed great and he was in fact enjoying himself throughly in the show but unfortunately things did not work well for him. The creative head of the `Kyunki` team Shivani Chauhan stated, "Manoj didn`t look as menacing as Ansh, played by Akashdeep Saigal. We wanted to build up Abir`s character like Ansh`s. But he just couldn`t do justice to it. Now we`ve roped in Vikas Sethi to play Abir."
However Manoj Bidvai has not taken the loss at his heart, as he is quite sure that it has nothing to do with his capability as an actor. It is just that he cannot look like a villain. In the other Balaji show `Kasauti Zindagi Ki` his track ended soon as it was not shaping up well. He stated optimistically that the soap queen would again cast him in the near future if she has a good role suited for him. Manoj Bidvai is now looking forward to his new shows. He is doing Deepti Bhatnagar`s upcoming show `Shaadi Street` which is again a love story where he is meted out a substantial role. He hopes that this one-hour weekly show will give him the platform that he is looking for.
On the personal front however Manoj Bidvai is on the top of the world after tying the knot with another popular television actress Ravee Gupta, who essayed the role of Damini in `Kyunki` for sometime. Manoz Bidvai is an Aquarian by birth and was born on 7th February. He is a strong believer in astrology and numerology. He was born in Solapur in the Indian state of Maharashtra and completed his schooling from St. Stanislaus High School, which is located in Bandra.
His first job was when he modeled for the launch of Hemant Trivedi`s store `Gabbana` and received his first pay cheque of Rs. 5000. He claims that he is very bad at lying. His favorite fragrance is the smell of the mud after the first rains. He drives a Ford Ikon and also possesses an I-Mate cell phone. Has regrets loosing touch with a couple of his school friends. This actor is sure to make his mark both on the silver screen and small screen in the coming times and his fans wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.
