Manasottara is an extraordinary range of mountains in Pushkara, which is mentioned in the Puranas. Manasottara is a mountain range which is positioned in a circular direction forming an outer and an inner circle in Pushkara. Pushkara is the seventh Dwipa.
The Manasottara Mountains are represented as 50,000 leagues high. They stand on the eastern face of the summit, the city of Indra. Manasottara Mountains have Yama in the southern face, Varuna in the west and Soma in the north.
