Geographically; the town is located between 10.6° North latitude and 78.42° East longitude at a height of 172 metres (564 feet) above mean sea level. The NH 45 passes through Manapparai. The nearest airport is the Tiruchirapalli Airport and the nearest airport is the Manapparai Railway Station on the Tiruchirapalli-Dindigul rail route.
