Lehragaga is a city situated in the Sangrur district of the prosperous state of Punjab. It is situated in the south of the ancient town of Sunam at a distance of 26 km. The nearest railway station is the Legra Gaga Railway Station on the Dhuri Jakhal rail route and the nearest airport is at Ludhiana.

The city of Lehragaga had a population of 19,310 as stated in the Indian census report of 2001. Males and females account for 53% and 47% of the population respectively. In Lehragaga, 13% of the population is less than six years of age. The census report of 2001 also throws light on the literacy rate of the town, which is 64%. This is higher than the national average literacy rate, which is 59.5%. T o be specific, the male literacy rate is 70% and the female literacy rate is 57%.
