Lawajoda Temple

Lawajoda Temple is one of the most important temples in the East Singhbhum District.

Lawajoda Temple is the temple about nine kilometers from Patamda in East Singhbhum District. It attracts a large number of archeological aficionados.

The sculpture of the Lawajoda Temple belongs from 9th and 10th centuries in Lawajoda. The sculptures are also the major attraction in the adjacent people. In this temple the mythological stories are clearly portrayed. Religious as well as mythological significance is attributed to the place by natives.
