Laharpur is a city situated in the Sitapur district of the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Laharpur is located in the east of Sitapur the district headquarters at a distance of 25 km. and in the northwest of Lucknow, the state capital at a distance of 110 km.
The major access points are Sitapur Cantonment Railway Station and the Amausi Airport. Situated between 27.72 degree North latitude and 80.9 degree East longitude it is located at a height of 133 metres (436 feet) above mean sea level.

Males and females constitute 52% and 48% of the population respectively. In Laharpur, 19% of the population is less than six years of age. The average literacy rate of Laharpur is 41%, which is much lower than the national average literacy rate, which is 59.5%. Out of it, the male literacy rate is 47% and the female literacy rate is 34%.
The city is famous for the Dargah of Hazrat Maza Shah Kalandar, Baba Jangli Nath temple of Lord Shiva and the Channu Laal Dwarka Prasad Mandir.
