Kotekara

Vast continent of India houses a multiple of towns and cities that have thronged here in large numbers. The state of Karnataka is also not an exception. Several temples that have been consecrated to Hindu deities also are quite large in numbers. Yakshagana is the famous folk art form of this district.

Worshipping serpent god, namely, Subramanya is a common practice prevalent amongst people of Kotekara. Since Kotekara is an integral part of this Dakshina Kannada district it becomes apparent that people also follow the same tradition as well.
