Kirat Bhattal, Indian ActressKirat Bhattal is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in South Indian movies. She is professionally known as "Keerath" in South India. She started her career with modelling then ventured into films. She has worked in various television commercials and Telugu and Tamil films. She also anchors various television shows.

Early Life of Kirat Bhattal
She was born on 26 January in Monrovia, Liberia in West Africa. She received her education from Lawrence School, Sanawar.

Career of Kirat Bhattal
Bhattal"s stint with the glamour industry started with advertisement campaigns. She made her debut with the Safi ad. Then she went on to appear in a number of television commercials for various products including Lakme, Claeres, Fair and Lovely, Motorola, Airtel, Hero Honda, Siyaram, Kalyan jewlellers, Macleans and TBZ just to name a handful. She did modelling for Sri Kumaran Silks in Chennai. Kirat has also been brand ambassador of various products.

She made her film debut with the Telugu movie Dongodi Pelli in 2006. In the same year, she was signed by Saran for her first major film, Vattaram which also featured Arya and Napoleon. The theme of the film revolves around a gun seller`s love. Next in 2007, she worked in a Kannada language movie titled, Geleya opposite Prajwal Devaraj. The film received positive reviews from audiences and was declared a hit.

In 2008, she was seen in a guest role in the film Santosh Subramaniam, which is a remake of the Telugu film, Bommarillu which featured Genelia and Jayam Ravi. Her role in the film received appreciation both from critics and audiences even though it was a short one. Her next ventures were Tamil movie Durai in 2008 and Telugu movie Naa Style Veru in 2009.

Apart from movies, she is also into television show anchoring. She is hosting a travel show named `life mein ek baar- when angels dare` with actress Barbara Mori, T.V presenter Archana Vijaya, model Diandra Soares and Yana gupta. The first episode of this travel show was aired on 18 March 2013. She is also hosting a programme titled Style and the city on Fox Traveller.

Personal Life of Kirat Bhattal
She tied the knot with popular VJ Gaurav Kapur on 3rd November 2014 at Chandigarh.
