The Khongjom War Memorial was built to commemorate the martyrdom of Manipur"s Major General Paona Brajabashi in 1891. The memorial is a historical place that is located on Kheba Hill on the Indo- Myanmar in the state of Manipur.

Each year on 23rd April, the Khongjom Day is celebrated, which marks the last battle of Manipur, also known as the Anglo- Manipur War. Currently, the memorial stands as a reminder of the brave warriors the state has produced in the past, who have fought for their native land.
