The Khongjom War Memorial is one of the popular tourist spots in the state and was built to honour the martyrdom of Major General Paona Brajabashi.

Surrounded by picturesque hills and valleys and a 30 ft high entrance, the Khongjom War Memorial is one of the popular tourist spots in the Thoubal district. Each year on 23rd April, the Khongjom Day is celebrated, which marks the last battle of Manipur, also known as the Anglo- Manipur War. Currently, the memorial stands as a reminder of the brave warriors the state has produced in the past, who have fought for their native land.
