Jyoti Prasad Yadav is an Indian first class cricketer. The left-handed middle order batsman of Uttar Pradesh Cricket team, Jyoti Prasad Yadav was born on September 26, 1977 at Allahabad. He is a slow left-arm orthodox player of Uttar Pradesh team. Presently, the 32-year-old left active cricket a couple of years ago to devote time to politics.
Career of Jyoti Prasad Yadav
Jyoti Prasad Yadav plays for and captains Uttar Pradesh. He made his first class debut in 1994-95 playing for Uttar Pradesh against Kerala in Lucknow. He made his First Class limited over debut playing for Uttar Pradesh against Haryana in Hyderabad in 1994-95. He was selected in the Indian squad for the Sahara Cup in Canada in September 1998.
