Jobner is a city and a municipality in the Jaipur district of Rajasthan.

Jobner is located in the west of Jaipur, the district headquarters at a distance of 48 km. India`s largest saline lake, Sambhar Lake is located in the west of Jobner at a distance of 19 km. The nearest acces points are Sambhar Lake Railway Sattion and the Sanganer Airport. Geographically, the city is located between 26.97° North latitude and 75.38° East longitude at a height of 400 metres (1312 feet) above mean sea level.

The 2001 Indian census report states that Jobner had a population of 10,496. Males account for 52% of the population and female account for 48% of the population. In Jobner, 16% of the population is less than six years of age. The average literacy rate of Jobner is 64% which is higher than the national average literacy rate which is 59.5%. To be specific, the male literacy rate is 75% and the female literacy rate is 51%
