Jobner is a city located in the Jaipur district of the western state of India, Rajasthan. It is encircled by the Aravalli Ranges in the north. Jobner is located in the west of Jaipur, the district headquarters at a distance of 48 km. India`s largest saline lake, Sambhar Lake is located in the west of Jobner at a distance of 19 km. The nearest acces points are Sambhar Lake Railway Sattion and the Sanganer Airport. Geographically, the city is located between 26.97° North latitude and 75.38° East longitude at a height of 400 metres (1312 feet) above mean sea level.
The 2001 Indian census report states that Jobner had a population of 10,496. Males account for 52% of the population and female account for 48% of the population.
