Jhinjhana is a town and a nagar panchayat situated in the Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

Jhinjhana is a town in the Muzaffarnagar district of the northern state of India, Uttar Pradesh. Geographically, the town is located between 29.52° North latitude and 77.22° East longitude at an altitude of 243 metres (797 feet) above mean sea level. The Census report of India published in 2001 states that Jhinjhana had a population of 17,655. Males constitute 54% of the population while females constitute 46% of the population. In Jhinjhana, 19% of the population is less than six years of age. The average literacy rate of this town is 50% which is much lower than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. Out of it, the male literacy rate is 57% and the female literacy rate is 41%.
