Jetpur Navagadh

Jetpur Navagadh is a city in Rajkot District of the western state of India, Gujarat. It is situated 30 km north of Junagadh. The nearest access points are the international airport at Ahmedabad and the domestic airport at Porbandar. The Junagadh Junction Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Jetpur Navagadh is strategically located on National Highway 8D (NH 8D). Gondal is situated in the south of Jetpur Navagadh at a distance of 30 km.

As per the Indian census report, published in 2001, Jetpur Navagadh had a population of 104,311. Males and females constitute 53% and 47% of the population. One of the prime attractions of Jetpur Navagadh is the Swaminarayan Temple, noted for its lovely wall murals. In Jetpur Navagadh, the Bhuwaneshwari stud farm is famous for its Kathiawadi horses, Gir cattle and other ethnic breeds of livestock.
