The throat, supercilium and eyebrow of the fantail are white in color. As the name of the bird suggests, it has white spots on the grey-colored breast band. The tail of the bird is dark fan-shaped, which has white-colored edges. The bird fans its tail as it moves through the undergrowth. The adult White-Spotted Fantail has a length of about 19 cm and is an insectivorous.
White-Throated Fantail
White-Throated Fantail is also found in forest, scrub, etc in India and is called Nasoni Sorai in Assamese. As the name of the bird suggests, it has a white colored throat. Its supercilium is also white in appearance. Its tail is dark fan-shaped, which has white-colored edges. The bird fans its tail as it moves through the undergrowth. The races of this bird do not differ much in plumage. The adult White-Throated Fantail is about 19 cm long and is an insectivorous.
