Ikauna is a small taluka headquarters town situated in the Shravasti district.

Ikauna is a small taluka headquarters town situated in the southern part of Shravasti district in Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters of Bhinga is situated in the north of Ikauna at a distance of about 20 km. The nearest access points are the Balrampur Railway Station and the Amausi Airport. Geographically, Ikauna, Shravasti district, Uttar Pradesh is located between 27.55ø North latitude and 81.97ø East longitude at a height of 109 metres (357 feet) above mean sea level.

The India census report published in 2001 states that Ikauna had a population of 12,947. Males constitute 53% of the population and females account for 47% of the population. In Ikauna,18% of the population is less than six years of age. The average literacy rate of Ikauna is 52% which is lower than 59.5%, the national average literacy rate.Out of it, the male literacy rate is 60% and the female literacy rate is 42%.

Ikauna is very close to Shravastiin Uttar Pradesh, a popular religious destination.
