Harman Baweja, Bollywood ActorHarman Baweja is an Indian actor whose works mainly encompass the Hindi film industry or Bollywood. He entered the film world with the Bollywood flick Love Story 2050. Although none of his films succeeded at the box office, he gradually evolved as an actor. His performance in the movie Dishkiyaaoon met positive reviews from critics. He is also known for his excellent dancing skills.

Early life of Harman Baweja
Harman Baweja was born on 13th November 1980 in Chandigarh to a Jat-Sikh family. He hails from the film background as his father Harry Baweja who is a famed Indian film director and Pammi Baweja who is an Indian film producer. Harman did his schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School. Harman Baweja got trained in the Kishore Namit Kapoor`s Acting Institute situated in Mumbai. He also attended the University of California, Los Angeles. In the year 2009, Harman changed his name according to the numerology to Harman S Baweja. He introduced `S` in his name as a tribute to his grandfather.

Harman Baweja marked his cinematic debut as an actor with the 2008 sci-fi romantic film titled Love story 2050 opposite Priyanka Chopra under the production of his mother Pammi Baweja. The movie was directed by his father Harry Baweja. Harman`s performance in the movie however earned him nominations for Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer - Male, Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow - Male and Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. In the year 2009 he starred in the Hindi movie Victory which was based on cricket. The film has been enlisted amongst the most expensive Bollywood films till date. Renowned Indian as well as international cricketers also appeared in the movie which rendered it a realistic touch. But in spite of all such fascinating features, the movie once again could not succeed at the box office. Harman Baweja`s next venture was What`s Your Raashee? in which he once again acted alongside Priyanka Chopra. The movie featured Priyanka in 12 different roles. Although the movie failed commercially, it received mixed reviews from critics. For his performance he received nomination for Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow - Male. He appeared in a cameo role in the 2013 movie Gori Tere Pyaar Mein for which he was much praised. In 2014 he appeared in the film Dishkiyaaoon. Harman`s performance in the movie was applauded by the critics.
