Glow Lake

Glow Lake is located inside the Kamlang Sanctuary of Lohit District in Arunachal Pradesh. It is the most popular water body of the sanctuary, which can only be reached by trekking.

The lake covers an area of 8 sq. km with a circumference of about 4 to 5 km. Parashuram Kund is located near to this lake. Glow Lake can only be reached by trekking. Kamlang Sanctuary is also an important part of tourism along with Glow Lake. The sanctuary is the abode of several wildlife species like elephant, leopard cat, wild boar, civet, deer, giant squirrel and flying squirrel.

Visiting Information on Glow Lake
The best time to visit Glow Lake is from October to April. It can be reached through Namsai Wakro road form Wakro which is small town and circle headquarter under Namsai Sub-Division. It is located at a distance of 70 kilometers from Namsai town. Tinsukia is the nearest railway station while Dibrugarh is the nearest airport for reaching the lake.
